🍁 Fall color is beginning at Foster Falls! 🍁
Virginia State Parks’ latest foliage update is showing the first real signs of autumn along the New River Trail — black walnut trees are beginning to turn yellow, maples at Foster Falls are showing splashes of bright red, and more color is on the way.
Even better: Virginia State Parks currently lists Foster Falls as the best place to view the changing foliage along New River Trail State Park.
If you’ve been thinking about a fall getaway, October is a beautiful time to explore the trail, enjoy the cooler weather, and experience Foster Falls as the leaves change.
