The Meredith Inn is excited to share a wonderful upcoming event hosted by the Lakes Region Bed & Breakfast Association, an Evening of Hospitality on November 12th from 6–8 PM at the Squam Lakes Association in Holderness.

This gathering brings together leaders from NH Travel & Tourism, the NH Lodging & Restaurant Association, and the Lakes Region Tourism Association for an evening of insight, connection, and support for our local hospitality community. Guests will also enjoy food from The Dox on Winnisquam and Alamo Texas BBQ, plus libations from Traveler’s Rest Brewpub.

Next up in our series highlighting our rooms is Sunset Hill Room. This room was originally a dining room before the house was turned into a bed and breakfast, which is why it has the beautiful built-in shelves. Now it’s a large room with accessibility features like extra wide doors. It’s also on the first floor.

Next up in our series highlighting our rooms is Pinnacle Hill Room. Home to the original marble sink used by Dr Fredrick Hawkins in 1897, this room has a lovely turret sitting area and views of the hydrangeas.

First in our room series - we have 8! We want to showcase each of our rooms and a little bit about them. Oak Hill Room has a fascinating history as it was once the medical office of Dr Frederick Hawkins, who built the inn in 1897 with his wife Geneva.
