Fresh seafood is served daily, with a variety of different lobster dishes. The menu has a wide variety with something for everyone. For so many summers, Darik brought an unmistakable energy to Ballard’s. He had a way of turning an afternoon on the beach into something people would talk about long after they left the island.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have shared our stage, our beach and so many unforgettable days with him.

Our deepest condolences go out to Darik’s wife Michele, his family, his bandmates, friends and everyone who loved him.

Block Island summers will not feel quite the same without him. We will miss you, Darik.

What a beautiful fall weekend it was in Rhode Island.🍁

It had us thinking about what a remarkable season we had at Ballard’s. The long beach days, the music rolling across the sand, the drinks passed around the table, the familiar faces returning year after year. Summer moves quickly here in New England and we are so glad you chose to spend some of it with us.

We hope everyone is enjoying this stretch of beautiful fall weather. When the island turns back toward summer, we’ll be right where we always are ,by the water, ready to do it all over again.

The beach days may be over, but Ballard’s isn’t done just yet.

With the ferries paused because of the storm, we’re making the most of our final two days of the 2026 season with everyone still here on the island. Come in, get comfortable, order your Ballard’s favorites and take advantage of Sunset Specials all weekend.

Thank You to everyone who made us part of your summer 2026. We are already counting down the days until next summer.

As the 2026 season starts to come to a close, we keep thinking about just how beautiful this summer has been.

The packed beach days. The music carrying across the sand. The mudslides, the long lunches, the weekends that somehow turned into whole days at Ballard’s. And most of all, every one of you who came over on the ferry and made us part of your summer.

We never take that for granted.

There are only a few days left in the season, and we’re not ready to say goodbye just yet. So come back for one more beach day. One more round. One more song with the ocean behind you.

Let’s give summer 2026 the sendoff it deserves.

Thank you for another unforgettable season at Ballard’s. We’ll see you on the beach for these last few days.

The clock is officially ticking on Ballard’s season.

There are only so many lobster rolls left to order, only so many frozen drinks left to indulge in, and only so many beach days left to turn into the kind of day you talk about all winter.

If Ballard’s is still on your summer list, this is your sign to stop waiting.

Block Island. Good food. Cold drinks. One more day at Ballard’s before the season slips away.
