Our Grand View Lodge team is proud to support GVL Thrive giving cancer patients in Minnesota a much-needed respite.

Jaiden was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, 2025. Here is what his mom had to say about their trip!

We are so thankful for the experience that The Indy Foundation and Grand View gave to Jaiden and us! We had a blast!

We not only had family come stay with us but 12 of his friends! It was our way to say thank you to everyone who has supported Jaiden on his journey. You can see that his group of friends are there for him every step of the way.

Our Grand View Lodge team is proud to support GVL Thrive giving cancer patients in Minnesota a much-needed respite.

Ivan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma in June 2024. Here is what his mom had to say about their trip!

"We are so incredibly grateful for our time at Grandview Lodge. It was such a special time for our family to relax, reconnect, and just enjoy being together.

From playing bingo and lots of games to swimming, going down waterslides, and hanging out in the basement playing pool—every moment was filled with fun and laughter. It truly felt like a break we didn’t even realize how much we needed.

These past 2 years have been a journey, our son has been in remission for one year now, making this time together even more meaningful. Being able to celebrate this milestone as a family in such a joyful and peaceful setting meant everything to us.

Thank you for creating such a thoughtful and impactful experience for families like ours. We will cherish these memories forever."

We were proud to be in the room. 🏆

Grand View Lodge recently attended the 2026 ATHENA Awards: A truly inspiring celebration honoring the individuals and organizations and individuals who champion leadership, mentorship and opportunity for women and girls right here in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Events like this remind us why community matters. Watching women be recognized for the impact they make in business, in mentorship and in everyday life, is something worth showing up for.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that lifts each other up, and we’ll always be proud to stand behind the women who lead, inspire, and pave the way for the next generation.
