Somewhere along the way, vacation became another thing people tried to optimize. October would like a word.

Walk slower. Stay longer. Miss absolutely nothing. The Gulf is still warm, the sand has room again, and nobody's racing you to the good chairs anymore.

Consider this your invitation to the insider season. https://turquoiseplace.spectrumresorts.com/condo-rentals/ #/room

No alarms. No school drop-off. No “we need to leave by 8.” Just coffee getting cold because you keep looking at the view. This is the slower side of beach season.

🚩🚩10/8/26
Official evacuation order issued by
Governor Kay Ivey

Following our previous communications regarding the approaching hurricane, we are writing with an important update.

Governor Kay Ivey has issued an official mandatory evacuation proclamation, effective today, October 8, 2026, at 2:30 PM CDT. This order requires all non-residents, tourists and visitors to immediately evacuate all areas of Baldwin County south of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, including Orange Beach Turquoise Place.

We understand that many of our guests were already planning to depart tomorrow morning at our standard 10:00 AM checkout time. We ask that all guests depart as soon as practical, with 10:00 AM tomorrow as the absolute latest departure time. We strongly encourage you to leave sooner if possible, as road and bridge closures could occur without further notice.

Important Information:

Mandatory Evacuation: All rental guests are required to evacuate the property. Our Security team will be going door to door to notify anyone still onsite.

Road and Bridge Closures: Access may become restricted or closed without notice, potentially leaving anyone remaining at the resort unable to depart.

Water and Elevator Service: These services will be shut down as storm conditions warrant.

Emergency Assistance: Emergency responders may be unable to respond once conditions become unsafe, and resort staff will not be available to provide assistance during the storm.

We recognize that these circumstances are stressful and disruptive, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe.

Please make plans to depart as soon as practical, and no later than 10:00 AM tomorrow, provided evacuation routes remain open and accessible.

Your safety is our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding, and please travel safely.
