ge lanais overlooking the ICW, boat dock and boat lift, recently updated upscale furnishings in the main living area and is exquisitely decorated. Guest must pay extra $100 per week ($400/month) for use of pool heater. Catch plenty of pinfish from the dock for your live well, and fill your boat up with ice from the large ice machine under the house. From the dock you are less than a minute to full throttle on the ICW. Clean your fish on the dock when you return and let it cook on the gas grill poolside as the sun goes down in your beautifully landscaped backyard, or take an evening stroll down quiet Kettle Harbor Drive as Turtles cross your path and Ospreys and Owls fly overhead. Relax in the Krusty Krab at the end of the day, the newly built screened in bar area underneath the house with a large screen television and plenty of outdoor living space. Have you vacationed on the island before? Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. Then its all walking and golf carts from there. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $380, or $38 per round trip. Tom the contractor is currently working on what was damaged at Bikini Bottom. A few upgrades will be done as well. Tom, was the craftsman that built the Krusty Krab, last year. Can’t wait to get things fixed and back to our island home!

AC unit ordered and should be installed by the end of October.
Insurance adjuster was out last Sunday. Contractor coming to assess things and give estimate on Saturday. (He’s thinking he can possibly start work sometime in November). Pool is blue again.
