The Story Behind FrosTY Acres 🤍
Today is a day that holds so much love, so many memories, and a little bit of heartache for me.
Today would have been my husband’s and my 18th wedding anniversary. Although he is no longer here beside me, the love we shared, the life we built, and the memories we made together will always be a part of who I am.
August is a difficult month for another reason, too. August 21st marks the anniversary of the day I lost my son, Ty. There are no words that can truly explain the emptiness left behind when you lose someone you love so deeply. Some losses change you forever, and you simply learn to carry the love and the memories with you as you move forward.
That is where the story of FrosTY Acres Bakery begins.
FrosTY Acres is so much more than a bakery or a business to me. It is a piece of my family. It is a way of keeping their memories alive and carrying their legacy forward.
The name FrosTY comes from my son’s name, Ty Frost. FrosTY is Frost + Ty, a little piece of his name woven into something that I hope will continue to grow for years to come.
Every time I see that name, I see a piece of him.
FrosTY Acres carries the memories of my husband, my son Ty, and the love, strength, hard work, and family values that shaped the life we shared. Those are the things I want this place to represent.
As I begin this new chapter, I know they cannot be here to see it with me. But they will be here in every part of it—in the little things, in the big moments, in the memories we make, and in every person who walks through our doors.
I cannot change the chapters of our story that brought heartbreak. But I can choose how I continue writing the story that comes next.
So I will keep going.
I will keep building.
I will keep loving.
And I will carry them with me every step of the way.
FrosTY Acres is our family’s story—a story of love, loss, strength, and legacy.
And I intend to carry that legacy forward with all of my heart.
In loving memory of my husband and my son, Ty. 🤍
Some footprints are left in the snow long after the person has gone. Their love remains, and their story continues. ❄️🤍
