Apparently we needed a reason to make pizza night happen five days a week. 🍕Good thing we found five.

From $18 specialty pizzas on Thursday to all-day Happy Hour on Sunday, there’s something going on every day we’re open.

If you had 48 hours in Ridgway, how would you spend them? 🍂🏔️

We’d check into MTN Lodge, drop the bags and head straight out to catch the fall colors on the drive toward Ouray. Then it’s back to Ridgway for hot pizza and drinks at Ridgway Pizza & Tap.

The next morning, take your pick: soak at Orvis Hot Springs, explore Ridgway State Park or make a day of it in Telluride. There’s a lot within reach, and half the fun is deciding where to go next.

Then come back, settle in and enjoy one more night in the San Juans.

Anyone have plans this weekend? There’s quite a bit happening around here.

Ouray is celebrating its 150th anniversary on Saturday with a free concert featuring Big Head Todd & The Monsters and Hazel Miller & The Collective.

Then on Sunday, Ridgway has the 1K Rally Thru the Alley followed by the inaugural San Juan Oktoberfest at Hartwell Park.

If you’re out and about between events, swing by Ridgway Pizza & Tap for pizza and a cold drink. 🍕

There’s something about a table full of pizza that makes everyone happy. 🍕 Whether you always reach for a classic Pepperoni or Margherita, want to try one of our specialty pizzas like The Duke, Hot Chicken or Big Chief, or prefer to build your own, there’s plenty to pass around.

Bring your friends, order a few different pies for the table and settle in with a cold drink. You might come in knowing exactly what you want, but there’s a good chance someone else’s order becomes your new favorite.

The Broncos are home against the Rams tonight, and Pizza & Tap is where we’re winding down the San Juan weekend.

If you needed another reason for a fall weekend in the San Juans, this is it.

The Telluride Autumn Classic rolls into town Sept. 24–27 with vintage automobiles, exotic supercars, motorcycles, aviation, art and four days surrounded by fall color.

Friday’s Cool Cars on Colorado brings the vehicles right onto Telluride’s Main Street, and Saturday features the Mountaintop Concours in Mountain Village.

Our suggestion?

Make a weekend of it.

Stay at MTN Lodge in Ridgway → spend the day in Telluride → come back through the mountains → pizza and drinks at Pizza & Tap → sleep → do it all again.

That’s exactly why we call Ridgway a basecamp.

The first golds are showing up in the San Juans, and one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Ridgway is just beginning. 🍂

Late September marks the start of the fall-color season around Ridgway, Ouray and Telluride.

Make MTN Lodge your basecamp and spend the day wherever the colors take you.

Drive the Million Dollar Highway. Explore Ouray. Head toward Telluride. Take the back roads. Stop for the views. Then come back to Ridgway, grab dinner at Pizza & Tap and settle in for the night.
