It’s always felt a little too cheeky to share our reviews, but they’re such a sweet reminder of why we opened the Yellow Door Inn in the first place… so here goes, our inaugural review share! We love this area, and it means so much to see guests diggin’ it too. It’s especially lovely when they mention the little local gems they discovered during their stay.
Here are a few from the past couple months💛

The Yellow Door Inn is a magical and whimsical home as soon as you open the door. You are greeted with such care and love for the place and all the beautiful plants. There’s even a poster of history and information of the home and the town! Everything was so welcoming and just as the pictures! The giant kitchen was so organized with everything labeled! It made life a lot easier. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. There wasn’t a room in this home that wasn’t thought of in care and attention and cleanliness.

We had a fantastic stay at the Yellow Door Inn! The house is full of personality—artistic, cozy, and filled with touches of local creativity. The backyard is peaceful and charming.
We loved exploring the area: highlights included , ice cream from , meats from , and a great stop at . Driving around Cossayuna Lake was the perfect way to unwind.
Even now, back in NYC, we still feel the timeless charm of Washington County. Highly recommend this stay—thank you for the warm hospitality!

What an astounding and lovely stay. Klara and Greg’s home is perfect, from top to bottom! One of the cleanest and most thoughtfully designed Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, with a kitchen built for a chef! Super comfy beds and amenities throughout. The backyard access to Salem Art Works Sculpture Garden was an added bonus. We will be back!
