🙌 Packrafting has grown so much this year—and the is a huge reason why.
Here at Optimum Adventures, we’ve had the honor of contributing to that growth—offering tours, rentals, and instruction across Washington while working with the APA alongside amazing partners like and the U.S. Forest Service to spread awareness and access to this amazing sport.
Our Owner, Lead Guide, and Instructor, Adam Jones, proudly serves as the APA’s Northwest Ambassador—advocating for paddler access, promoting safety, and building community across the region.
The APA’s work makes everything we do possible:
✅ Instructor certification standards
✅ Educational resources
✅ Community events
✅ Access to wild places
📈 This year alone, they’ve:
• Reached 250K+ with safety education
• Hosted the 11th annual RoundUp
• Launched the first Ambassador Program (which we’re part of!)
• Continued advocating for river access across the U.S.

The APA runs on a tiny budget—and 80% of funding comes straight from paddlers like us.
