As avid atv riders and jeep enthusiasts we saw a need for lodging near the AOAA ATV & Full size off road park and also wanted to specifically include those with disabilities. Please come visit our large Victorian home which is nested in the mountains of the coal region and next to the AOAA. We have plenty of off street parking our driveway is 70 feet from the garage to the street and 26 feet wide

with additional single vehicle parking on the upper lot. there is queen sized beds in 4 bedrooms as well as 2 rooms that also have bunks beds, every bedroom except for the double bunk room comes with fire tv and free Wi-Fi. We offer large walk in / roll in showers and a kitchen with all utensils, big living room with plenty of comfy seating. Need to wash your clothes we have that covered to, there is a washer and dryer here for your convenience. Rest assured your machines are safe put them in the large garage for the night and if that's not enough we have plenty out outdoor cameras watching the property. At the end of a long day of hard riding relax by the outdoor fire pits or sit on the porch and enjoy some of the evening views across the valley.

A Conrail train crosses Independence St. from the vicinity of Station Row in Shamokin, PA. I love seeing the old tinsel Christmas decorations that used to line the downtown during the 1980's.

Weis Markets, 1962, Shamokin, PA, the year the new store opened in this location. At the time of it's opening in '62, it became the largest Weis store in Northumberland County. I bet all those shoppers are there buying their last minute Thanksgiving day supplies!

Previously, the Weis store was located on Independence St, next to Newberry's. When Weis vacated the space, Newberry's purchased the building from S. S. Kresge and expanded their storeroom. The Newberry's lunch counter occupied the building where Weis was previously located, and a new porcelain enamel facade was erected over the front of both buildings to tie it all together.

AOAA Deer Hunting & Motorized Use

The AOAA will be closed December 1st -6th & December 8th -13th to motorized users. Hunting will be allowed during this time.
NO FIRST DAY OR SUNDAY HUNTING!
Please be advised: trail maintenance will be performed during the closure.

The AOAA will be OPEN for regular motorized riding November 29th & 30th and December 7th.
