Patterson Grove Patterson Grove, founded in 1868, is dedicated to sharing the message and ministry of God’s love and grace through Jesus Christ. Join us for campmeeting!

Throughout the summer we offer Christian programs and fellowship to all who choose to join us. Patterson Grove is situated in a sugar maple grove on the banks of Kitchen’s Creek near the junction with Huntington Creek. The attractive grounds boast some sugar maples that have been aged between 250 and 300 years old. The Campground is located 5 miles south of Ricketts Glen State Park, and 3 miles north of PA Route 239, near Huntington Mills. The Campground has 103 cottages, an open air Tabernacle, boarding hall, educational unit, recreation hall, picnic pavilion, outdoor chapel, volleyball court, and a children’s play area with swings, sliding board, and picnic tables.

Fall Clean Up 2026 is THIS Saturday! If you have them… bring your tarp, rake, gloves, blower, pick-up truck… and maybe a few cute kiddos to put in the leaf piles. :)

But even if you have none of these items— please come out! All help needed to put Patterson Grove in order for winter and there are tasks for everyone regardless of age or ability!!

8AM assemble at the Tabernacle. Arrive late? Just jump in anywhere! Lunch will be provided for all who come on out to help!

This past weekend we closed up a lot of things for the season. It’s always bittersweet to have our last music event, our last Sunday morning service and close the snack bar and centennial shoppe for the last time…. Until next year… But what a joy it is to have helping hands to make that all happen. We won’t ENTIRELY pack up until Fall Clean Up weekend when we hope to see a lot of our Grove family and friends one more time, October 17-18, but for now…. We are doing a little tidying (to include getting those floors clean!)

We celebrated our Eagle Scout project today with a bit of an unveiling and some words of appreciation for Brandon Remphrey, our scout. While he still has a few more plans - such as staining the bridge and erecting a cross - what an amazing project it is already! He built this beautiful bridge, path, flower beds and made this whole area so nice and accessible for everyone who comes to Patterson Grove. We could not be happier! And we could not be more appreciative! Thank you Brandon and your entire troop and all the other volunteers who helped! (Including your parents!)

Our plaques have arrived! Many thanks to all who donated benches, Adirondack chairs and porch rockers over the past year! A volunteer (with his small team of knee high assistants and side-kicks) have plans to try to get these installed over Labor Day weekend - but we couldn’t wait to show them off and thank our donors!! What a great addition to the grounds thanks to everyone’s generosity!
