We'll have some decent tunes on ...a couple snacks that won't fill you up too much and just over all good times... So C'mon over. And yeah, it says Brown Bag Bourbon Society on the invite, but honestly if bourbon's not your thing and you want to bring a bottle of wine, or just your favorite soda, you're more than welcome to crash.

What an amazing day! Although a little chilly the weather finally cooperated...Benny knocked it out of the park with his smoked chicken..there was Great food, great company and great music. Rustic Remedies rocked the pavilion and it was so nice to see everyone out and enjoying the campground.

Alright crew, the band got back to us and they're taking the stage here on Saturday May 30th for a raincheck party! Make sure you mark those calendars. We've got a killer chicken barbecue cooking up at 4:00 p.m and then the band's gonna get you dancing from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Fingers are crossed it'll be sunny, but honestly, we'll just dance in the puddles if not.

Hey campers!
We’ve been doing a few little upgrades around the pavilion lately — adding a bit more room and helping streamline the serving area for our picnics and campground events. And honestly… it’s also turned into the perfect new gathering spot for our once-a-month Friday night meetup with the Brown Bag Bourbon Society. 🥃
Huge shoutout to Nick and Benny for putting their carpentry skills to work and getting everything built. The new setup turned out awesome!
We actually had a little impromptu “test run” last week to break the bar in properly with the Brown Bag Bourbon Society in its new pavilion home. 😎

Now you may be asking… what exactly IS the Brown Bag Bourbon Society?
Well, it was the brainchild of one of our seasonals (Nick) who enjoys a good bourbon now and then — along with my husband and several others around the campground who appreciate a good tasting. The idea is simple: Bring a bourbon of your choice in a brown bag… we blind taste them… then decide which one takes the crown for the month! 🏆
And before anybody gets any wild ideas 😂 — this is NOT a crazy blackout/get-drunk kind of event. It’s just a laid-back evening of sipping, tasting, listening to good music, relaxing with friends, and enjoying some good conversation around the pavilion. I’m also hearing rumors that snacks may become part of the future lineup… 👀

Hey everyone, we've got some weather news that's about as fun as a root canal - Mother Nature's being a total party pooper for Saturday! 😂 So, we're making the executive decision to postpone our Memorial Day Chicken Barbecue Picnic.
A few sprinkles of rain wouldn't be so bad, but steady heavy rain all day and night? That's just asking us to turn our picnic into a pool party... and our pavilion isn't exactly equipped with pool floats. We're pretty bummed, but we'd rather push it back and do it right, so you can actually chill, eat, and dance instead of trying to swim to the food table for a plate of Jim's Beans or Kims Grape salad!!. There's way too much planning, food, and setup to risk having it all washed out.
We're waiting to hear back from the band about new dates - May 30th or June 13th are the current front-runners. We'll keep you posted. Thanks for understanding, friends! We'll make it worth the wait!
