Looney news….we have one egg today, 5/21/26, in the nest. In past years they have had two eggs usually dropped 1-2 days apart. A loon egg typically hatches within 26-30 days. So we should expect a chick around 6/16. Dad Frankie is holding down the nest currently while mom is taking a break. Hopefully she will drop another egg within the next couple of days…stay tuned.
