This past winter, we completed a major capital renovation of our oceanfront outdoor pool—an ambitious project that reflects our ongoing commitment to both guest comfort and environmental responsibility. The most significant upgrade has been the conversion of our pool sanitation system from traditional chlorine to a modern salt treatment system.

This transition allows us to offer a more stable and predictable pool water environment to enhance our Guest’s swimming experience. Salt treatment systems of pool waters are gentler on the skin and eyes, eliminating the harsh effects and strong odors commonly associated with straight chlorine sanitization . Guests will now enjoy the refreshing ocean views while immersed in water that feels softer, cleaner, and more in harmony with the surrounding environment.

In addition to enhancing comfort, this upgrade supports a more sustainable approach to pool maintenance. The salt treatment system reduces the need for daily added chemicals, making it an eco-friendlier solution that aligns with our dedication to preserving the beauty of our oceanfront setting.

We’re proud of this transformation and excited to welcome guests to experience a cleaner, more natural way to swim this season.

Weather permitting, the outdoor pool will be open for Memorial Day weekend!

"This hotel really should be top 25 in the country. The staff, rooms, food and cleanliness are absolutely fantastic....we couldn’t have been more happily surprised every time we came in. The breakfast was included and was way above expectations. All the normal things plus creative takes on old favorites - a choice of two different Eggs Benedicts daily. We stayed in two different rooms. The sea/harbor side room (323) had a little balcony directly overlooking the sea. We opened the doors to the sounds of the gentle waves and breezes.
