Today, we celebrate Francois Louw—the visionary whose love for Du Kloof Lodge has helped create a place where people can gather, slow down and make memories.

For his birthday, he’s enjoying one of life’s greatest gifts: time with his grandchildren. ❤️

Moments like these remind us that the memories we make together are what we carry with us. We’d love to welcome you to make some of your own at Du Kloof Lodge. 🌿

Serious about fishing?

But not just any fishing... Fly fishing. The kind of fishing where you, your rod and the river become one work of art.

A huge thank you to Cape Piscatorial Society for being part of the Du Kloof Lodge family and for allowing your members to experience the breathtaking Molenaar River that runs alongside us, with the magnificent mountains as its backdrop.

For river fly-fishing at Du Kloof, contact Cape Piscatorial Society for your fishing permit.

But if you're seriously keen to catch a fish, come and try our fully stocked dam! No experience needed, just a little patience and a love for the outdoors.

Dam fishing permits are available at Du Kloof Lodge Reception.

Come for the fishing.
Stay for the adventure.
Experience Du Kloof.

Do you feel it?

The change in season, the chance to rebuild yourself, the chance to reconnect with your family.

Take a moment to look at what you have. Bring the sun over the mountain and let it shine light all around you, just as spring has done for us.
