RIDE RESULTS
As Sunday called people away before rides were completed we unfortunately did not have a grand presentation. Here are the ride results for those who had to get away - if you were a winner can you please send a photo so we can promote our generous sponsors.
102km RUBY RIDE- has been painted VIOLET with our very own Violet Cantwell crossing the line with fellow junior Taylor Grogan as the only 2 riders to complete this epic 3 leg course in equal first. Violet also received the best conditioned rug (sponsored by Splendacrest Stables) award for Estee Lauder te (owned by Shelley Chapman). Violet also received the Barry Rhodes memorial trophy for a junior rider, as she was the only rider to successfully complete rides on both days.
It was great to witness the camaraderie between Taylor and Violet as they supported each other throughout the ride, especially after adult chaperones Shelley Chapman and Saasha Grogan withdrew before the final leg. Phenomenal effort and great sportsmanship! Well done girls!
