Happy New Year! We hope your 2026 is off to a great start. As we head into the heart of the winter season here in Kenora, we have some important updates to share regarding our facilities and your upcoming stays.

🏗️ Resort Store Update & Winter Operations

You may notice some changes on-site: our previous resort store has been taken down to make room for a brand-new store currently under construction! We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space later this year.

In the meantime, we want to remind you that the resort is fully operational all winter long. We are open for:

Accommodations & Events: Our cabins and lodge are ready for your winter getaway or group gathering.

Fishing Licenses: We are still issuing licenses on-site so you can get out on the ice without delay. 🎣 Winter Highlights: The Lake is Calling

It is a beautiful time to be on Lake of the Woods! If you’re planning a visit soon, here is what’s happening:

Ice Fishing: The Lake of the Woods Ice Road is officially open, and the bite is on!

Darlington Bay: The bay is open for fishing and providing some great winter action.

Mt. Evergreen Ski Hill: The ski hill is open for the season—perfect for a day of downhill or cross-country skiing just minutes away.

Valentine’s Day Market: We are currently planning a special Valentine’s Day Market at the resort! Stay tuned for more details on local vendors and treats.
