North Country Rentals

When a family member notices a piece of equipment from NCR in Prince Rupert, of course they stop to take a picture! 😂❤️.

NCR services a very large area and a large variety of customers.

How great is this for emergency services?! What a awesome project.
You know what else this will be great for?

Delivery drivers trying to find your property 😅

Luckily our drivers are all local and know most places but you would not believe the directions we get sometimes... 🚚🗺📍

" Our drive way is on the left, after the third power pole, past the saskatoon bushes, right after the old yellow fence, if you see the big rock that looks like a space ship, you have gone to far."

Don't get us wrong, it makes our day interesting to say the least, but sometimes we feel like Brendan Fraser in the Mummy deciphering ancient hieroglyphics... 🧐🕵🔎📖

Happy Monday!! 😄😄😄

The RDBN Civic Address Sign Project is helping improve property identification across the region by providing highly visible civic address signs to rural properties.

Clear and visible address signs help emergency responders identify and locate the correct property, especially at night, during poor weather conditions, or in emergency situations. Civic addressing plays an important role in ensuring properties can be found when needed.

Residents participating in the project will receive a free, reflective civic address sign designed to improve visibility and make civic addresses easier to identify.

This project is made possible by the Next Generation 911 (NG911) funding program, which is administered by the Union of BC Municipalities and funded by the Province of BC.

Learn more about the project and order your sign at:

Really proud to support initiatives like this in our community. Youth sports play such an important role in building a healthy, active, and connected environment for our kids. Awesome to see this come together 👏👏👏

Smithers Minor Hockey wants to say a huge thank you to the many people and organizations who helped bring our Pixellot camera to life this season.

We are incredibly grateful to Newmont Corporation
for sponsoring the camera, which has been in operation since December. It has been a fantastic addition—giving family members and friends who can’t always be at the rink the opportunity to still watch and support their athletes.

We would also like to sincerely recognize the time and effort from Mike Fraser and HIS Electric for installing the system, along with North Country Rentals and Scotiabank Smithers for their support of the installation process.

🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of North Country Rentals! 🎉

This year marks 30 years in business — and we couldn’t have done it without our customers, community, and incredible team.

From small hand tools and a couple pieces of equipment, to today’s fleet supporting construction, industrial, and mining & exploration projects across Northern BC — it’s been an amazing journey.

Along the way, we’ve also become your local Hilti experts, helping customers find the right tools, anchors, and solutions to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years.
Here’s to the past 30 — and many more ahead. 💙
