“So cloudy, should I even go chasing the Northern Lights tonight? ”

Well, glad we didn’t stay home! 💚

We started the night under some seriously thick clouds, but with our local guides checking the forecasts and finding the right spots along the way… THIS happened!

🤩 From barely seeing a star to watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky. Definitely one of those once in a lifetime moments!

Thick clouds, low visibility, and barely a hint of green in the sky. Not exactly a promising start.

But aurora hunting is about more than watching the KP index. It‘s about reading cloud movements, tracking clear-sky windows, and knowing exactly where to go.

Our local guides knew where the chances were. We made our move, found clearer skies, and this was our reward. 💚
