Olkaa tervetulleita! Our family encountered in many cases during our own trips that finding quality accommodation with central location can be really big obstacle sometimes. Since we are Rovaniemi born and really love this town. We want to offer spacious quality accommodation in the very heart of this fine city in our familys city home.

October and the Northern Light season is having the boost. Last week we have had at least every other night great show and the Auroras has been really easy to see starting even 7 pm.

Here are some pictures taken from Rovaniemi 9th of October after 11 pm and the device is Samsung S25+. And no need to go even to totally pitch black area since these are taken from normal streetlight surroundings.

When you visit at Rovaniemi please do make sure that Arktikum, the museum and science center will be included into your itinary. Absolutely wonderful to visit. Architecture is mezmerizing, interactive exhibitions and shopping possibilties if you seek authentic items to buy as souvenirs. Also great cafe and lunch!

Many of the Lapland visitors have one top bucket list wish, to see the Northern Lights. Just to let you know it does not have to be winter if you are hunting for the Auroras. September is also fine since the sky is dark and we just went out to see the Auroras wearing t-shirt and flip flop sandals.
