FROM THE LAND FAMILY FRIENDLY SESSION ~ SUNDAY FUNDAY 🧑‍🧑‍🧒💛

Whilst we always try to be a family friendly festival we’ve dedicated Sunday afternoon to be our more “official” family friendly session.
It’ll be a more laid back afternoon, with a chilled DJ set to start & things to keep the kids entertained; including FREE face painting (12-4pm), colouring station & outdoor games. Plus we’ll have the freezer stocked with Morwick Dairy ice cream 🍦🎳🎨

After 4pm the session will amp up a little, with the DJ playing out the weekend in style- but don’t worry kids will still be welcome and our brewery tap space will be open if you like it a little quieter.

We would like to wish all our guests, friends, colleagues and followers a very very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As a small business 2025 was an incredible year for us with a few of our highlights below

We opened the doors to The View Cresswell after a 10 month (and our biggest to date) full renovation - and our guests absolutely love it!

We welcomed well over 300 sets of guests across our 7 properties and had the highest number of returning guests so far!

We achieved Airbnb "Superhost" status again for the 7th year running and with over 400 reviews on this platform alone we are very proud of our 4.98 / 5 score!

We won again for the 3rd year running "LUXE" magazines best dog friendly cottage's NorthEast

We strengthened our cleaning team's with the addition of Hanibobs Cleaning Services, joining Clean holmes/ clean holiday holmes as our resident housekeeping teams, who work tirelessly to ensure our cottages are immaculate

As 2025 draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to say a huge 😍THANK YOU 😍to all our guests, friends and followers
We have had an incredible year and with the highest number of returning guests this year, it makes us so happy our guests love our cottages so much they return time after time!

As a small family business there is so much that goes on behind the scenes to make your stay enjoyable and trouble free and we couldn't do it without the support of our amazing cleaning teams of Carol,Wayne,Lisa & co at Clean holmes/ clean holiday holmes and Hannah,Ben, Kerry & co Hanibobs Cleaning Services who regularly go above and beyond to ensure our cottages are immaculately clean, well equipped and ready on time for our guests

We are very fortunate to have great colleagues in our maintenance company, heating company and builders who help us out at the drop of a hat

and

Last but not least, out brilliant suppliers, Mocha Mondo Coffee, Northumberland Gifts,The Northumberland Bakehouse and Love Popcorn who keep us well stocked with locally sourced items for our famous welcome packs

We own and manage all our holidays cottages which means you deal with me (Elaine 😁) every step of the way , from your initial enquiry, to booking, payment options, check in details and feedback. I am always available to help with any questions and always try to accommodate every request.
