Eskdale and Brook House in particular is superbly positioned to make the most out of this stunning landscape, walking distance to Englands highest mountain, 20 minutes by car to "Britains best

view", Muncaster Castle, La'al Ratty Railway and the Lake Districts' only working Corn Mill a short stroll from the Inn. Our imaginative menu, including vegetarian options and scrumptious puddings, is complimented by blackboard specials and a varied wine list. Dining in our restaurant, bar or snug is always a pleasure. We serve real ales, treated on their journey from barrel to bar with tender loving care. These include Cumbria Legendary Ales Langdale, Hawkshead Bitter and a range of guest beers from Local Brewers such as Yates, Barngates and jennings. Who’s ready to join us next Thursday for Live Music after our Curry Night for the Boot Beer Festival?! An amazing set from The Jam Shed, from 9:30ish until late. The Brook House is the place to be in the eskdale valley next Thursday, the 4th.
Oh and did we mention, we will have 11 cask beers and 5 keg beers on for the beer festival, along with a host of proper ciders and some amazing, kick-ass curries to pair with it all on the Thursday! Give us a ring to book a table for anytime over the festival, or rock up from 9 on the Thursday with your dancing shoes on and get a nice spot on the dance floor! Hope to see you all there!!
