IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
It's now time for us to say goodbye to The Meadow Inn.
After almost 12 incredible years, the time has come for us hand-over the reins of The Meadow Inn. We want to let you know that we have now sold The Meadows, and our last day will be this coming Sunday, the 23rd of August.
It’s difficult to put into words just how much The Meadow Inn has meant to us. It’s been far more than “just a pub” - it’s been a huge part of our lives, and the memories we’ve made here will stay with us forever.
To every single customer who has walked through our doors over the years, we want to say the biggest and most heartfelt, thank you...
You didn’t just come in for a drink, a meal or a night out. So many of you became familiar faces, then regulars, then friends. Some of you have been with us from the very beginning and we’ve watched your families grow, shared your celebrations, laughed with you, cried with you, listened to your stories, sang and danced with you, served your food, poured your drinks, and, at the end of the day, just enjoyed being in your company.
There are some people, too, who first walked through those doors as strangers - but over the years have become such good friends that we simply can’t imagine our lives without them. You know who you are. We love you, and we’re so grateful for everything you’ve done for us. That’s the truly special thing about our time at The Meadow Inn - the true-friendships we never expected, but now treasure.
To every member of our amazing team, past and present - thank you. For your hard work, your loyalty, the laughs, the long days and nights, and for giving so much of yourselves to The Meadow Inn. You became part of our family, and we will always be incredibly grateful. We genuinely couldn’t have done any of this without you.
We’re going to miss The Meadows like crazy that’s for sure…
We’ll miss the noise, the laughter, the fun and games, the music, our team, the familiar faces, the busy nights and quiet winter evenings, pub-quizzing and boozy-brunching, the comedy nights, meeting new people and those little conversations that became part of everyday life and, well, so much more…
Now don’t worry - The Meadow Inn is not closing - it’s just changing hands. Our amazing team are all staying on and so it’s “business as usual” next week. Please note - Gift Vouchers don't have to be used before Sunday - they will be honoured by the new owners. We will share a post from the new owners tomorrow.
And, before you ask - we are not leaving Crieff and we are keeping The Quaich. There’s no big story or drama behind the decision. After everything we’ve put into The Meadows over the years, it just feels like the right time to hand it over to someone else and let them make it their own. It’s a big change for us, but one that feels right.
So, that’s it… We will leave The Meadow Inn on Sunday with full hearts, an enormous amount of pride and an even bigger amount of gratitude.
