Getting the coop winter-ready! 🪵🐓

Moving a mountain of wood chip to top up the chicken coop before the colder weather sets in. The chicks have completely eaten down all their grass, so it's time for a fresh layer.

Next up on the to-do list: cracking on with the showers and toilet block! 🛠️🚜

Local Wildlife Spotlight 🦌🌿

One of the lovely residents you might occasionally spot around the site is our local muntjac deer. They are wonderful creatures to share the countryside with, and catching a glimpse of them adds a special touch to an escape in nature.
Just a gentle heads-up for anyone staying with us—they are around, so you might just cross paths with one during your stay! Come join us for a peaceful getaway under the stars. ⛺😉✨

Thanks so much to everyone trying to book with us! We haven't actually opened our gates just yet.

Between full-time jobs and the farm, we're taking our time building things right—including our new washing-up area. While the main campsite is targeting next season, we're hoping to open our shepherd's hut and three electric hook-up pitches sooner, once our licensing and sign-offs are all wrapped up!

We'll keep you posted right here as soon as we're ready. Thanks for your amazing support—we can't wait to welcome you down to the riverside! ✨🦆

Nothing beats a working farm morning! ☀️

​While breakfast is sizzling back at the campsite, the best alarm clock on the farm is already hard at work. One of the best parts about staying on a working farm is that there’s always something to do—little ones can head out to help wake the animals, check in on the chickens, and dive right into the daily rhythm of rural life.

From a handfasting altar to a quiet woodland sanctuary. ✨

​Spaces hold memories, but they also love to evolve. This shady spot beneath the trees has long been our go-to escape to dodge the midday heat, lose ourselves in a good book, and clear our minds.

We had the most lovely day ambling down the river!
There’s nothing quite like drifting along the water, watching the wildlife, and taking in the quiet country views.
