A moment for Tinwood…

Grown just down the road from us in the heart of West Sussex, Tinwood Estate is one of our favourite examples of just how good local really can be.

Their family owned vineyard sits around 6 miles from The White Horse, on the edge of the South Downs near Chichester. The first vines were planted in 2007 and today the estate has more than 110 acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the three classic grape varieties used to create their award winning English sparkling wines 🥂

The South Downs National Park stretches across almost 400,000 acres of rolling countryside, ancient woodland, picturesque villages and beautiful walking trails, including the famous 100 mile South Downs Way.

And we’re lucky enough to call it home.

Whether you’re planning a countryside walk, spending the day exploring Sussex or simply looking for somewhere to escape for a night or two, there’s plenty to discover right on our doorstep.

Then when the walking is done, head back to The White Horse, find a table and let us take care of the rest.

Perfect for couples or friends, it can also be connected to Dubawi for families or multi-generational stays.
