May seems to have flown by! We’ve packed so much into the month, with two Bank Holiday weekends, plenty of countryside walks, horse riding, and beach adventures with the dog.

Aislaby’s just 10 minutes from the coast, making it a wonderful village to stay in. You can drive down to Sandsend and enjoy a stunning walk all the way along the shoreline towards Whitby.

There is also a local bridle path and footpath just below the property, if you don’t want to venture too fair away from the house , it is lovley for a circular walk that takes you through the neighbouring village before looping back home.

We were also lucky enough to welcome friends from Austria at the beginning of May, and they absolutely fell in love with the area. They enjoyed learning about the village’s history, exploring the church, and taking in some truly spectacular sunsets, with the sky painted in beautiful colours.

To round off the month, Estella headed off on a hen weekend with one of her long-term friends, making May a month full of memories, friendship, and adventure.

Monthly Roundup How on earth is it the 1st May ?

In April we have been enjoying dog walks and the beautiful light nights and sunsets at the Hall , the garden is looking stunning and we can’t get over the views that we get from Aislaby Hall and the Garden Apartment. Estella had a fantastic time at her Polo lesson and university reunion at - a great day trip to York from Whitby. She also squeezed in a quick trip to Solihull, highly recommending the fanatic Japanese restaurant if you're in the area. The horses are thriving and our show jumping is going well. Bring on May!
