With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, the culinary team at Ming Court, Cordis, Hong Kong, presents two festive delights: the Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Whole 6 Head South African Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Conpoy and Jinhua Ham, and the newly launched Vegetarian Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Morel, Lion’s Mane Mushroom and Millet.
The abalone dumpling is rich and luxurious, filled with whole 6 head South African abalone, sea cucumber, Japanese conpoy, mushroom, Jinhua ham, five spice pork belly, and salted egg yolk. The savoury blend of pork and seafood creates layered flavours. Steamed to perfection, it is soft, fragrant, and ideal for sharing with family.
For vegetarians, Head of Dim Sum Chef Tse Sun F*k selects rare mushrooms – Yunnan morel, agaricus blazei, lion’s mane mushroom, and shiitake – along with sweet chestnuts, millet, and glutinous rice to boost immunity and digestion. Each mushroom offers a unique texture and aroma, while the sweetness of chestnuts and the grainy bite of millet balance perfectly with the soft rice. The result is a nourishing, non greasy delight.
