There is no better feeling than when a guest truly understands what you’re trying to deliver…. These guests were celebrating their honeymoon and, with it being a quiet season, we were able to go a little bit further to make their time with us even more special.

“Relaxing and memorable stay + We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. The accommodation was beautiful, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and how well everything was presented and maintained.

The warm welcome made us feel at home immediately, and we really appreciated the thoughtful details throughout our stay. The bottle of wine was a lovely surprise and a very nice touch — we enjoyed it a lot while relaxing in the whirlpool bath, which made the experience even more special.

Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for your hospitality!”

I got up early to head up the mountain for a little snow-time, and this was our first sunrise.

Sometimes all we need is simple pleasures.... When I see the grooming machines start to appear on the mountain cameras, I sense a little excitement... Whakapapa, Mt Ruapehu this evening...

Snow play and the Sky Waka re-open on Saturday. Hope to see you there over the next few weeks.
