"This location was amazing! We went during November and were a little worried about the potential nighttime cold but the tipi stayed warm and comfortable the entire night. It had two heaters that we put on medium heat and that was plenty. We were blown away with how nice this setup was. The tipi, amazing, the hot tub, flawless, the restroom/bathroom top notch. Beautiful spot, the deck is awesome. We saw deer every day. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a unique getaway".

Fall migration is on!

🚨 LIGHTS OUT ACTION ALERT! 🚨

Over 50% of birds migrating through our region travel from September through October. That means we're in peak Fall bird migration period right now, and tonight (October 8th) the migration forecast for the Houston/Galveston area is predicted to be HIGH.

Though it is important to ensure all non-essential lights are OFF from 11 pm - 6 am every night during the migratory period, ensuring lights are off during nights of high predicted migration is critical!

Just sharing my gratitude for an outpouring of concern from our guests. Texts and calls have been coming in day and night checking on us. These are virtual strangers, but they care and share concern. We are fortunate and blessed to have people like this visiting our community.
