On October 10th, Kentucky’s “Bardstown Arts & Crafts Festival” gets underway in the historic downtown area of Bardstown, bringing more than 250 artist and craft booths to the tree-lined streets and lawns for a full fall weekend! The 45th annual festival spreads across several downtown blocks, including North Fourth and Fifth streets, West Flaget Avenue, Spalding Hall Lawn and City Hall Lawn. You can spend hours walking through booths filled with handmade art, jewelry, pottery, woodwork, clothing, home décor and other one-of-a-kind finds while local artists also hold demonstrations throughout the weekend. Food, drinks and entertainment are mixed throughout the festival, along with a children’s area for families. The setting is a big part of the experience, with the booths surrounded by Bardstown’s historic buildings, shaded lawns and downtown shops. Admission is free, and the festival runs Saturday, October 10th from 10 AM–6 PM and Sunday, October 11th from 10 AM–5 PM. Proceeds support the Bardstown Main Street Program and its downtown projects.

The annual street concert returns to downtown Bardstown this summer as part of a patriotic celebration marking a historic milestone.

Bardstown Main Street has announced that this year’s 23rd annual Bourbon City Street Concert will feature “Unleashed: The Toby Keith Tribute” in honor of the “United We Jam” celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

The event, set for Saturday, June 20, will celebrate the music of country star Toby Keith, known for hits like “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue,” “American Soldier,” and “Red Solo Cup.”

Organizers say the tribute will highlight themes of patriotism and support for the military, reflecting the spirit of Keith’s music.

The concert will take place in downtown Bardstown, with attendees encouraged to wear red, white, and blue and join in the community celebration.
