We were honored to host Middle River Veterans Outdoors this weekend for some goose hunting and fishing here on Lake of the Woods. 🇺🇸

It truly was an honor to welcome these men who have served and given so much for our country. Sitting around the table with them, hearing their stories and experiences, and getting to know the men behind them left us with a weekend we truly won’t forget. Their kindness, gratitude, humor, and company meant more to us than they probably realize.

There were plenty of laughs, a lot of good stories shared, and memories made throughout the weekend. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have shared it with them and are hopeful this can become a new tradition here at camp.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your service, your stories, and the time you shared with us. We hope to have you sitting around our table again soon — and hopefully next year, the birds will be a little more cooperative. 🇺🇸

And if you have the opportunity, take the time to thank a veteran. After this weekend, we’re reminded just how much those two little words can mean!
