UPDATE: Thankfully the Qury Fire has been contained having burned over 9,000 acres on the east side of Custer well away from Bridle Ridge and our riding. We are very blessed to not have been affected. To view the areas that have been affected you may download the Watch Duty fire app on your computer or smart phone. It is a great app to have and will notify you of all fires in your area of interest. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2026 camping and riding season with you all! Thank you for all your prayers and concerns for everyone in our area.

Dear 2026 Guest and Friends,
The fires in Custer presently burning as of 3/13/2026 are not affecting our camp or our riding. They are burning on the southeast side of town, and we are on the northwest side of town.

Please say a prayer for all the folks, livestock, and wild animals that are being impacted, they can sure use them.

Hello everyone! I have a last minuet work camping opportunity for a couple for our 2025 season! Work in exchange for your site rental and extras and spend your summer in the beautiful southern Black Hills! Start date is ASAP - Sept 31st. Applicants must be physically fit, able to move about freely, happy and hospitable, have a good work ethic and own there own LQ or camper. Horse knowledge is not a requirement but certainly is a big plus! We are hoping a great opportunity meets a great couple who would enjoy spending the summer with us! :)
