Hey Holiday Surf family- we have seen where beaches are closed but the City of Destin has not reported any closures!!!

Destin Beach Safety is flying a single red flag today (10/10/26) due to 1-2ft surf and rip currents. Please be advised to stay out of the water and wear shoes on the beach. We are still dealing with a lot of residual debris from Hurricane Isaias both in the water and on the beach. Please protect yourself and find a lifeguard with any questions.

A beautiful sunset and a fresh start!

We are so excited to welcome our guests and owners back to Holiday Surf & Racquet Club! The power is on, the water is open, and we’re ready to get your vacation started! ☀️

A huge thank you to our guests and owners for your patience and to our hardworking staff who worked tirelessly to get our property cleaned up and ready for everyone’s return. We are beyond grateful to be back open and look forward to making more beach memories with you! 🏖️

🙏🌪️ Thanking our lucky stars! ❤️

Our condo made it through Hurricane Isaias with only minimal damage, and we truly know how fortunate we are. While we’re sharing a few photos of what the storm left behind, our hearts are with our neighbors and everyone who wasn’t as lucky. 💔

We know that what may seem like minor damage to us could be a much harder reality for someone else. We’re keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers, hoping for safety, strength, and a speedy recovery for all those facing a much tougher road ahead. 🙏❤️

🏡 The good news is that we plan to begin welcoming back our guests and owners tomorrow, Monday, October 12th, at 4:00 PM! We can’t wait to open our doors again and get back to doing what we love.

Sometimes storms remind us just how much we have to be grateful for and how important it is to look out for one another. Sending love, prayers, and strength to all our neighbors during this time. ❤️🙏

HURRICANE UPDATE - HOLIDAY SURF & RACQUET CLUB 🌴

We’re incredibly grateful to share that our team is safe and Holiday Surf & Racquet Club is still standing strong. ❤️🙏🏼

Destin took a direct hit from the hurricane, and while we are thankful for the safety of our staff and property, we are now beginning the process of assessing the storm’s impact.

Here’s what we know right now:

⚡ Power Outage: Our building is currently without power, and we do not yet have an estimated restoration time. We will share updates as more information becomes available.

🚫 Property Access & Arrivals: For everyone’s safety, we are unable to welcome arriving guests or allow anyone to return to the property at this time. Our team needs power restored and time to thoroughly assess the property before determining when it is safe to reopen. We will provide updates as soon as we have a better understanding of when guest arrivals can resume.

🏢 Property Inspections: Our team will be inspecting the entire property, including individual condos, to evaluate any damage and determine what steps are needed before normal operations can resume.

We know how much Holiday Surf means to our owners and guests, and we understand the uncertainty and concern this situation may bring. Please know that the safety of our owners, guests, and staff remains our highest priority. We are committed to moving forward as quickly as possible, while ensuring it is safe to do so.

We are incredibly thankful for the outpouring of support, kind messages, and everyone who has reached out to check on our team. Our hearts are with our Destin community as we begin the recovery process together. ❤️🌴

📢 IMPORTANT PROPERTY UPDATE – HURRICANE ISAIAS 🌀

For the safety of our guests, owners, and staff, our entire condo complex is currently CLOSED due to the incoming Hurricane Isaias.

🏢 Front Desk Reopening: We plan to reopen on Sunday at 9:00 AM, weather and property conditions permitting.

📅 Upcoming Reservations: We will be reaching out to guests with upcoming reservations on Saturday, after we have had a chance to assess the property conditions and determine next steps.

The safety of our community is our top priority. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we navigate this storm.

Here is the official mandatory evacuation notice for Holiday Isle. Holiday Surf is requiring all our residents to leave tomorrow. We hate this 😞 but 🙏🏼 for the best!! Hoping everyone stays safe!

Okaloosa County has issued mandatory evacuation order for Zones A & B in Destin starting at noon tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 8, 2026). A is the red and B is the pink/tan. Should we receive information that any other zones need to evacuate besides A & B, we’ll share that information in an updated post.
