We have 8 cabins on the western edge of Burntside Lake on Tamarack bay, 12 miles west of Ely, Minnesota in the Superior National Forest. We are also on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness which is adjacent to the Canadian Quetico Provincial Park.It is QUIET, PRIVATE, and BEAUTIFUL. Burntside Lake is 9 miles long with 150 scenic islands, clear blue water, and LOTS of fish.

The fishing has been fantastic on Burntside Lake this week.

We’re also taking a moment to thank the firefighters and emergency crews responding to the Birch Bay Fire on the North Arm of the lake. Their hard work and dedication help protect the forests, waters, and communities that make this place so special.

As guests enjoy time on the water and make lasting memories, we’re grateful for those working tirelessly behind the scenes.
