Today we see snorkelers in the water, paddle boarders headed out, and some very wise people already settled into their beach chairs under their umbrellas doing absolutely nothing and loving every second of it. 😄🏖️

This is what a Maui Monday looks like in real life, and it is every bit as good as it sounds.

Maui's waters are home to some of the most extraordinary and vulnerable creatures on earth. 🌎

The Hawaiian monk seal. The Hawaiian green sea turtle. The hawksbill sea turtle. The giant manta ray. These are not just beautiful animals. They are threatened and endangered species that need our protection, our respect, and our distance to survive and thrive. 🐢
