We are a year round, family owned and operated, hunting & fishing lodge with a dine in restaurant, camp store, cabins and campground located in Township 6 Range 8 at the north entrances of Baxter State Park and Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument. We are just off ITS 85 for some great snowmobiling and a 1/2 mile
from Matagamon Lake for some great ice fishing. We also offer shuttles into

xter State Park for the back country hikers and skiers. Or just come and enjoy

LOOK UP TONIGHT to see a partial lunar eclipse that will leave the Moon nearly swallowed by Earth’s shadow! 🔴

This partial lunar eclipse is especially deep, with 96% of the Moon’s face covered. It’s not quite total—but it may look close enough to take your breath away. The maximum eclipse will happen at 12:12 a.m. ET on August 28.

You'll see nearly the entire Moon darkened, possibly glowing orange, copper, or red, which will be visible from most of North America, with viewing circumstances varying by location.
