One of the sweetest surprises of spring at Captain Nickels Inn.

Momma fox taking her three little ones on a walk across the lawn while we watched quietly from afar. We may have become slightly obsessed with them. 🧡

Nature has a way of making you slow down and appreciate the moment. ✨

My sister thought they were squirrels at first… until momma fox appeared with her three tiny babies 🦊🧡

We’ve become completely obsessed watching them play, explore, and tumble around the grounds here at Captain Nickels Inn. For now, we’re simply enjoying them from afar and giving them the space to feel safe, wild, and at home along the Maine coast.

Some of the sweetest moments are the quiet, unexpected ones. ✨
