Let the festivities begin! We will be hosting a private event this upcoming weekend, so dinner will only be served on Thursday evening. It's summer dinner season at the Castine Inn! Beginning on Thursday, June 11, we will be serving dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 4-8 p.m., with the occasional exception of Fridays for private events, so please call ahead, reservations encouraged. Join us for appetizers - Bruschetta Toast Points or Baked Brie featuring the Inn's in-house homemade blueberry jam - and a full menu featuring some of the original recipes of former innkeepers, Margaret Parker and Mark Hodesh - Potato Leek Soup, Marinated Beet and Walnut Salad, and Chocolate Walnut brownies - along with coastal favorites such as Fish Cakes and Coleslaw and Shepperd's Pie. Happy June! Join us in the pub tonight for small bites and merriment prior to heading down to the Flash! In the Pans' pan dance from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Castine Town Dock. Tonight's concert is free with donations accepted to benefit the Castine Arts Association. We're open 4-8 p.m., Monday-Saturday, with small pub plates such as antipasto skewers, bruschetta toast points, and deviled eggs.

Wishing all a pleasant Memorial Day Weekend.

As we begin our busy season we want to let everyone know that we will be offering dinner service as well as pub service starting Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The Main dining room and pub will be open for provisions Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 8 p.m. The menu will vary weekly, serving new dishes as well as items from The Castine Inn's classic menu. Please note that Friday dinner options will vary due to private event bookings. We encourage reservations by calling 207-326-4365.

The Madockawando Pub is currently open daily Monday-Saturday from 4 - 8 p.m.

New this season is Sunday brunch served from 8 AM until Noon. This buffet-style setting will be worth the visit to Castine.

Join us in the dining room, expansive porch or pub. We look forward to your visit and making many fond memories!
