🐦🌲 A little visitor at Caribou Cabins! This American three-toed woodpecker was busy making its way around the spruce, peeling back the bark in search of lunch. One of the things we love about being tucked into the Alaska woods is never knowing what wildlife you’ll spot just outside your cabin. Come enjoy a little piece of Alaska with us.

🧚✨ A Little Magic in the Woods at Caribou Cabins ✨🌲

Apparently, we’re not the only ones who have discovered that the woods around Caribou Cabins are a magical place. 💚

Some creative little visitors have been busy building a fairy garden among the moss, spruce trees, stones and pinecones — complete with tiny homes, pathways and gathering places.

We absolutely love finding little surprises like this tucked away in the woods. It’s a wonderful reminder that sometimes the best adventures are the ones created with a little imagination. 🧚‍♀️🍄🌲
