🎈 The Balloon Festival Gives Back ❤️

This is one of our favorite parts of the Great Smoky Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival—being able to turn a successful event into support for the community that helps make it possible.

TCGA was honored to present the Townsend Volunteer Fire Department with an $11,500 donation from proceeds raised through the Great Smoky Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Year after year, our firefighters show up for our community—and they show up for this festival. From helping keep thousands of guests safe to serving behind the scenes wherever they are needed, we are incredibly thankful for their hard work, sacrifice, and willingness to serve.

And the impact doesn’t stop here.

Through this year’s Balloon Festival fundraiser, TCGA was also blessed to provide support to Townsend Elementary School and the Blount County Rescue Squad.

When you purchase a ticket, become a sponsor, volunteer, or support the Great Smoky Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival, you’re helping us do more than put on an event. You’re helping us give back to the people and organizations serving our community every day.

To the Townsend Volunteer Fire Department—thank you for answering the call, for serving our community, and for being such an important partner to TCGA and the Balloon Festival.

This is what community partnership looks like. ❤️
