People ask us all the time if one day at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is enough. Honestly, it usually is not. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park spans over 335,000 acres, and the best light for seeing the glow is early morning and after dark, which is hard to catch if you are driving back to a coastal hotel. Staying right here in Volcano Village makes the trip easier. Read our blog, "Why a Day Trip To Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Isn't Enough," so you have plenty of time to explore the park when planning your travel itinerary.
