Checking trails with my fellas! I often saddle both my horses and take them out on the trails. I’ll pony one then switch horses part way through and ride the other. This way they both get out and confidence grows with Thunder and Larkspur enjoys stealing snacks!

Meet the #1 guy on the Bunkhouse staff- Larkspur! He’s been an invaluable asset over the years- from ponying colts, trail blazing and trail clearing, teaching kids and adults how to ride and being a fearless leader for any nervous horse and rider, as well as western dressage extraordinaire!
Horses like him are one in a million. There’s nothing he wouldn’t try to do. Look at the joy on the youngest BH crew member’s face as proof. We love Larkspur!
