A successful duck opener. Plenty of shooting still going on this morning! Zippel Bay has good waterfowl hunting, we do rent duck boats. Many guests bring their own, it's nice to have the boat on the dock in front of your cabin and ready for the early morning departures. Wayne Nims and family all the way from Missouri! Out charter fishing with Nick. The walleye bite continues to be good with fish moving towards the shorelines. Scenes from a very large family reunion held this past weekend at the resort. From Texas to Alaska and many points in between, they came here to gather. Sounds like they'll be at least 3 more new little ones by the next time they get together! Traditions keep the bonds strong. Thanks for staying at Zippel Bay!
