A New Chapter for Kits Coty Glamping 💜
After 12 incredible years, we have some very big and very emotional news to share…
2027 will be our final year at Kits Coty Glamping.
After much thought, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to sell our home and beloved glamping site and begin a new chapter in our lives.
Kits Coty Glamping was built completely from the ground up. There has been blood, sweat, tears, laughter, sleepless nights and an enormous amount of love poured into this place over the past 12 years.
Neither of us had ever worked in hospitality before, so we literally learned as we went along. Every tent, cabin and little detail was carefully designed around the things we love , places we had visited, books and films that inspired us, and experiences we wanted to share with other people.
And what an incredible journey it has been.
Over the years, we’ve watched children who first came here as little ones grow up. We’ve shared in engagements, weddings, anniversaries and countless special celebrations. We’ve sadly lost some of our wonderful past guests, but we’ve also celebrated the arrival of new babies and watched families grow.
We’ve made lifelong friends along the way, appeared on television, and somehow managed to win over 50 awards, including a national award that we are incredibly proud of.
But more than the awards, the TV appearances or anything else, what means the most to us is the people.
You.
The guests who chose to spend their precious time with us. The families who returned year after year. The couples who celebrated special moments here. The children who made memories here. The dogs who became part of the Kits Coty family. And all of you who supported our little business, recommended us to friends and left us such wonderful messages and reviews.
You have all been such a huge part of our journey, and we hope that in some small way, we’ve been part of yours too.
So why now?
Well, sometimes life throws you curveballs, little reminders that 'one day' may never come and that life really is too short.
Quite simply, we feel that the time is right to move on while we are still enjoying it, still passionate about it and while the glamping industry is thriving.
We want to leave Kits Coty Glamping on a high, with 12 years of wonderful memories behind us, rather than wait until we feel it is time because we no longer love it.
It will be incredibly emotional to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of our lives. We know there will be tears. But there is also excitement for what comes next.
We’re looking forward to slowing down, enjoying retirement, travelling, spending more time together and making memories with our family.
But we’re not quite finished yet!
We have the whole of the 2027 season ahead of us, and we intend to make every single moment count. 💜
So, if you’ve ever wanted to stay at Kits Coty Glamping, or you’ve been meaning to come back and see us, 2027 is your chance.
We would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible before we close this chapter.
We've already got lots of lovely bookings lined up for 2027, and we want to reassure everyone that it's very much business as usual at Kits Coty Glamping! 😊
As we've mentioned, selling a property like ours, which includes a business and land, is a lengthy process, and there is absolutely no immediate change to our plans. We're preparing for the 2027 season as normal and are looking forward to welcoming you all.
Of course, if the site were to sell before your stay, any existing bookings would be fully honoured by the new owners or, if that wasn't possible, you would receive a full refund.
So please don't worry, there's no need to change your plans! We can't wait to welcome you, make more memories and enjoy one last amazing season together.
Your stay is still something to look forward to, and we're very much looking forward to seeing you! 🥰🏕️
