If we get the temperatures they predict this week, and it's looking likely, the following is worth bearing in mind: ❤️

On a normal day, working in a fast paced hot environment like hospitality can be tough. On exceptionally hot days like this week, it can be extremely difficult. 🥵

We've put measures in place and instructed our team about how best to deal with it, including taking things a bit more slowly and taking less bookings. Our priority will have to be keeping our team safe and to do that we have to make sure the hotel isn't quite as crazy busy as normal.

So please bear with us as we take on a little bit less this week. ❤️ Please do still check availability online and feel free to call up or pop in, cold drinks will be available to be enjoyed inside or out and we will do our best to accommodate what we can. ❤️

Meal service will operate as normal, we just won't be taking as many bookings. 🍴

Huge respect to everyone working in hospitality and other fast paced jobs in this heat. 👏 ❤️

The freezer has been stocked with plenty icelollies for our team, you may see some of us with them now and again! 🥵😂

You also won't see us sitting down ever, but this week the team have been instructed to take time when they need it, they're not sitting down on the job, they are doing it for their safety. ❤️

This is a real picture of the most delicious Sundae! Personally, it's my favourite dessert Chef Sarah has ever put on the specials! 🤩

I'm not embarrassed to admit I had it for breakfast and lunch on Sunday at work! 😂

A white chocolate and brownie Sunday! 🤩 Yum! 😁

Sarah has left us for her yearly solo trip (she's currently melting in Wales 🔥 🥵), meaning there won't be any specials this week EXCEPT this delicious sundae! I just couldn't get through the week without it! 😂

If you'd like to try this, you can simply pop in just for desserts! 🤩😊

We've posted about this dish plenty, but my goodness it was the order of the day yesterday! 😄 With such great feedback too. 😊

Chefs own Salt and Pepper Chicken, a house blend of sweet, salty and spicy flavours, making a saucy version of this popular dish. 😋🌶

From order, each dish is prepared completely from scratch, where chicken is sliced and coated in our own coating, and cooked whilst a sauce is put together there and then, and served with rice, chips or half and half! 😋🌶😄

There's a reason it's fast becoming our top selling dish! 🤩

Don't worry if you don't think it's for you, all of our other dishes go down well too! There's lots of lovely homemade dishes to choose from without being too much, reassuring you that it's all fresh! 😊

It's never taken me until this time on a Wednesday to post! Sorry! 🙈

It's been such a busy morning with coffees and scones and our usual Wednesday jobs! 😊

So much so that all of our scones have sold out! 🤩 We've no time to bake any more today, but they will be freshly baked tomorrow again! 🤩

We are fully booked this evening for dining, and looking forward to welcoming our large group of diners this evening. 🍴😊

Although 40 minutes into lunch service, we do have some minutes tables available, all availability is live and up to date online. 🍴🌐

Burger Takeaway is also full for this evening. 🤩

3 rooms left for accommodation this evening so we will offer a great direct, email only rate, get in touch to find out how great this is! 📧 🛌

Just as we were about to advertise dining for this Sunday, Father's Day, we've realised we are almost fully booked, with only 1 table available for up to 5 people at 12.45 pm. 🤩

If you'd like this table please get in touch directly, online switched off to save any over bookings. 😊
