🌴☀️ Summer nights don't get much better than this...

Join us in the Talbooth marquee for an evening of fantastic food, Caribbean-inspired entertainment and dancing beneath the stars.

Start the evening with a rum punch on arrival before enjoying a special barbecue menu from our outdoor kitchen, accompanied by the uplifting sounds of steel drums and vibrant samba dancers. Then, as the DJ takes over, the dancefloor comes alive and the party begins.

These events are always a highlight of our summer calendar and our next barbecue is now just around the corner.

There’s a good chance you’ll have seen our silver carving trolley while dining at Talbooth Restaurant.

Whether it’s carving Sunday lunch at the table, serving turkey tableside throughout the month of December, or simply sitting proudly in the hallway between services, it’s been part of the restaurant’s story for over fifty years.

Recently the trolley went away for its first (well-earned) major professional restoration, and on its return we thought it would be fun to recreate a photo from when it first arrived at the Talbooth back in 1974.
