Since I’ve been at Appletrees I have collected for mountain rescue, this last weekend I became aware of a project to get a new play area on Fitz park for the children . I think this is a fantastic cause so we are now collecting for that .

This is an artist’s impression of what Keswick Market may have looked like in 1276 when the Market Charter was granted to Keswick. 750 years. We are having a special celebration on Saturday August 8th. There will be a reenactment of the handover of the Charter. Traders dressing up their stalls, Medieval costumes. Also, for the kids, Spiderman, Elsa, and lots of other characters. And Jason the Juggling Jester. I will keep posting information, but we need the whole world to know 750 years. It is a special achievement for a special Market. Share, share, share and turn up on the day.

Busy weekend here at Appletrees. As we hosted a wedding party. I’m sure you agree the bride looked beautiful, and we tried to make their special day more memorable.
