We offer fantastic self catering holidays in the rural and relaxing countryside in Lincolnshire. We are very close to the Wolds, the quaint horse racing town of Market Rasen and the ancient City of Lincoln with its beautiful Cathedral and Castle. We are also close to Cadwell Park motor racing circuit and the beautiful town of Louth and Horncastle. Whatever type of relaxing holiday you are looking

for, we can offer... Unless you are specifically looking for night clubs, rowdy bars and theme parks! There is plenty to do and see in the area such as walking, cycling, painting and watching and photographing the wildlife and nature all around the lodges. Each warm and comfortable cabin is equipped with your every need so that, should you wish to, you needn't venture far!

We're feeling a shift in the seasons this past week at Rural Roosts, and as we venture towards dewy dawns and cooler dusks, the hot tubs really come in to their own. Noticing the evenings drawing in, and the end of summer perhaps on the horizon brings the perfect opportunity to look ahead and book a cosy autumn escape to really look forward to. We are very excited to hear the the Tour of Britain, one of the UK's biggest cycling events, will be sweeping through Lincolnshire this September.

Stage One of the event is starting and finishing in the city of Lincoln on the 2nd September, which brings not only a fantastic backdrop for the thousands of spectators expected, but the opportunity to explore the city and soak up the electric atmosphere in the iconic Cathedral Quarter. Stage Two starts in Boston and finishes in Skegness, if you fancy incorporating a trip to the seaside!

Rural Roosts sits just a 20 minute drive from the city of Lincoln, and 1 hour from the coast, making it the perfect location to get involved in all of the action, whilst being able to escape back to your peaceful pine lodge after an exciting day out. Next week at Lincoln Cathedral 🎨
Monday 17 August – Sunday 30 August

Hawthorne Art Group are hosting an exhibition of new work by local artists (including Katie from Rural Roosts!) Featuring a diverse collection of artwork across a range of styles, subjects and media, this exhibition showcases the talent and creativity of artists from across our local community.
The exhibition is included with the Cathedral's general admission ticket and is open during normal visiting hours, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm daily.
