A cosy, stylish and lively 19th century refurbished Island inn, find us in the little fishing village of Uig, situated in the north of the Isle of Skye on the incredible Trotternish Peninsula. We are centrally positioned on the southwest-facing Uig Bay, with a fantastic view towards Waternish. We thoroughly look forward to welcoming you to the Ferry Inn and our special (and cosy) corner of Skye - The Morrison Family. Our Bar:

Open fro drinks from 5-10pm Tues-Sat. Enjoy a drink in the Ferry Inn bar, relaxing by the double sided stove or enjoying the view over the bay in our Drinks Garden. Choose from our gin or whisky collections, cocktail menu, local ales and carefully selected wines. Dining at The Ferry Inn:

Our ethos is to deliver beautifully cooked, seasonal and local produce in a relaxed and stylish setting. We have very limited tables available for non-residents. We enjoy making the most of fantastic meats, seafood and lovely fresh produce from Scottish vegetable and salad producers. From our charcuterie and cheese to our shellfish, we source from a fabulous range of local and regional producers, and proudly showcase this on our menu. Our menu this year is built on a small plates & sharing basis as apposed to a traditional menu set up; small and seasonal it has been built to enjoy as a whole table experience. Our Rooms:

The Ferry Inn has three beautiful king size ensuite bedrooms, designed for both a luxurious and comfortable stay. Each bedroom is individually styled with boutique eclectic furniture and accessories, with either bay or woodland garden views. Please go to our website for all room information. 🍁🧡📝First Quiz - Bookings Now Open - bookings now open for first quiz of the season! Saturday 17th October from 7ish in the Ferry Inn bar 📝🧡🍁

All the usual quiz night rules apply so make sure to comment below, or message us or Anna direct to book a table in advance as there is no walk-in space. Teams of 2-6 max, limited tables in the bar as always, so once they’re gone, they’re gone! We operate a cancellation list in case of any team dropouts prior to the evening.
As per, all entry money and any extra kind donations go to a charity of choice each quiz night!

It’s that time of year… our quiz night plans for later this season!

Quiz nights are Saturday’s as usual and we have 3 dates for the autumn/winter! To help some plan in advance, here are what the dates will be - we won’t open the team tables to book until closer to each quiz time but here’s the dates so you have a heads up to get organised.

As per usual teams are 2-6, and you will need to book your tables in advance. We’ll post in the run up to each quiz when bookings open.

Gyan Singh is an accomplished Delhi-based Indian Classical / World Music Tabla Player and percussionist, with years of dedicated training under the guidance of the late Ustad Abdullah Khan and has toured around the world, playing at music festivals and international projects.

Seema Bhardwaj Singh is a professional singer and music educator based in Delhi, known for her expertise in Sufi, Folk, Ghazal, and Retro Bollywood music. She began her learning at the young age of 6, seeking inspiration from her mother, who was also a folk singer. With a formal education from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, she is celebrated for her melodious renditions of traditional Indian vocal forms like Thumri and Dadra.
